The Faculty of Creative Industries Acting School is an opportunity to join an exciting company of actors training for a career in the performing arts. The course develops your acting technique as well as improving your abilities in music, singing and dance. Our holistic approach harnesses your combined skills and builds on these to shape a framework for your future employment within the creative industries. The Acting School offers many different options to students: • Develop your skills from secondary school and youth theatre training to gain a tertiary qualification • Stay in Newcastle to complete your training. Hunter TAFE is the only tertiary institution in NSW offering this qualification • Fine-tune and develop your skills before you try out for other schools Our current and graduate students have achieved great results, receiving local awards for their performances and others finding work in the creative industries.
