Applications for Lapse: 24 hour performance experiment open now
Mon, 11 Oct 2010, 07:43 pmLapse is an multi-disiplinary performance event, gathering artists and creators to design, create, rehearse and perform a short work on a specific human rights issue within 24 hours. Artists will be creating works that investigate the human rights message of a key Amnesty International campaign which will be revealed the night before they are due to perform.
We are calling out for dancers, performing artists, actors, film makers, directors, soundscape artists, composers, circus performers, and more, that are up for the challenge of working in creative teams to design, create, rehearse and perform a short work in a 24 hour period based on an Amnesty International campaign.

Venue: bamBOO mainstage, behind Luxe Bar
Dates: 6th - 7th December 2010

Lapse is a part of the ARTillery Youth Arts Festival. ARTillery is an annual festival now in its third year and challenges local up-and-coming artists to communicate human rights messages through various arts events. ARTillery is a volunteer run project of Amnesty International Australia.
