My Dearly Disturbed, Following on from the outstanding success of DISTURBIA, The Woodford Folk Festival in South East Queensland (just north of Brisvegas) is looking to continue the exploration of communities on the fringe with DISTURBIA II, Directed by Phil Gordon (Disturbia, Freek Street, Perkins Family Freek Show and The Cleavers Family Wreckers) and produced by Daniel du Kismet (Disturbia, The Empire, Klownesville, Kismet Event Management)it explores the emergence of a new mutative breed as the human race becomes extinct. We are seeking actors, performers and production crew on a voluntary basis with some paid positions but a full season camping ticket to one of Australias favorite festival and biggest New Years Party is included. All skill levels are welcome and new performers are encouraged to participate in the WISP Program to gain some very usefull skills. see www.woodfordfolkfestival.com/wisp for details of training An information pack is available for DISTURBIA II by contacting Daniel thru kismet@bigpond.net.au Go on, you know you want to belong. People might be more

People might be more willing to apply if you added a 'state' (ie. location) to your post. This site is predominantly WA-based. I assume from the info provided that you're in QLD, but it's not clear...

The state Im in!

Thanks Na, I submitted this notice to the Queensland forum but apparently it gets carried over......? I think it depends on which state you nominate when u join as to the emphasis...I find it very Gold Coast and Sydney based.... Oh well...Ive updated the notice. Very interesting profile you have there...... have a prediliction to puppetry myself...Had a great time at UNIMA in Perth.......Not interested in coming to Qld for a holiday over the Christmas/New Year break? Im sure we could find some challenging work for you and you would find it very rewarding!...Just a thought! Hooroo Daniel kismet@bigpond.net.au

Hi Daniel. What Na is

Hi Daniel. What Na is referring to is the location selector. When you create the post, there is a tab that allows you to select your location, the default being Australia. If you look at the top left hand of your original post, you will see Australia, which means you haven't changed it from the default. When left as default, the audition notice shows up in all state searches, which may have been your intention. If you select QLD, or Gold Coast, it will then only show up in QLD audition searches. It also tells someone at a glance whether the audition notice applies to their location. Jeff www.meltheco.org.au

The others have already

The others have already replied about the use of the state locator, so I won't bother repeating the info. Still, if the post is updated it shouldn't matter too much now as things will be clearer anyway. I went to the '08 festival too (had a ball!), it's a pity there's not another one any time soon in Australia. Something like that as an annual thing would be great. Thanks for the invite to QLD! Though I'd love to come, I don't have the funds for a trip right now.
