GRADS proudly announce their 2011 Summer Shakespeare Season TWELFTH NIGHT By: William Shakespeare Director: Peter Clark “And thus the whirligig of time brings in his revenges.” Season: Venue: New Fortune Theatre, UWA Dates: Feb/March 2011 (2 week season / 11 shows) Final dates to be confirmed Olivia falls for new boy Cesario who is really Viola dressed as a boy. Viola has her eye on Orsino, while Orsino pines for Olivia, who is ever more taken with Cesario. That is until she claps eyes on Viola’s twin brother, who looks a little too much like his sister. To this, add a sexually frustrated steward, a randy old drunk, a maid with attitude, a fop, a fool and a clown and what begins in the aftermath of catastrophe soon transforms into gender-bending mayhem. A new non-traditional approach, look and feel to this classic Shakespeare comedy will result in an exciting 2011 Summer Shakespeare season under the stars at the New Fortune Theatre.
