HELP HARBOUR THEATRE SECURE 'OLD PORT CINEMA'
Sun, 30 May 2010, 05:57 pmCALLING ALL FELLOW THEARE GROUPS / BUSINESSES
The sadness that lies with Harbour theatre is the building they currently occupy.
Theatre members have managed to convert a derelict old Port Cinema and transform the space in to a fantastic workable theatre with ample parking and close by coffee houses and restaurants...
I urge all members of all groups to pull together with Harbour and help them raise as much awareness to GET this building into the hands of Harbour Theatre.
This venue is my opinion is better than most London upper fringe venues, the space would be ideal for drama festivals/ ITA meetings/ Finley Nights. This is truly an exciting venue. So please use all means of media - Television / Radio / or any other services that offer grants so that this theatre that has stumbled across extremely difficult times for the past five years may have the power to purchase this ideal building. If I'm pushing hard here it is for the simple fact that the production I saw there last night was a laugh a minute. If you're like me and don't laugh out loud, you would of last night. Something I would most certainly like to do again.
DONT ALLOW PERTH'S ART COUNCILS TO SLOWLY DEMOLISH LOCAL THEATRE

Harbour
I believe Harbour has only one year at their current location.. Committee pushers for the club that include Peter Kirkwood and Nicola Bond have worked around the clock to just get the old cinema for a year. Come on Perth Community get together and push past the shenanigans.
