JC Casting Presents: Demystifying Casting Workshop for Teens

Are you serious about acting? Do you want to know about securing an agent? Need to know about auditions? Established Perth Casting Director, Jenni Cohen, is offering one-off school holiday workshops for children and parents: DEMYSTIFYING CASTING FOR CHILDREN Course Details: Suitable for 12-15 years of age Date: Saturday 10th October 2009, 2.30 – 5p.m. Venue: Subiaco Arts Centre, 180 Hamersley Rd, Subiaco WA. Fees: $165.00 for parent & child together Course Teachers: Jenni Cohen & Marie Rodger Closing date for application and payment: 1st October 2009 This workshop is aimed towards children AND their parents to introduce them to casting and working in the performing arts. Children will be sent a script prior, to prepare and possibly perform, and participants will also be called on for impromptu “auditions”. You will have the invaluable opportunity to see the process, ask questions and gain insight into what really happens in the audition room. JC Casting successfully ran this workshop in January 2009 at the national Australian Screentests, Sydney.
