'Kid's Adventure TV Pilot' Auditions

We wish to represent a realistic multicultural depiction of Australia, so all looks / nationalities are very welcome to apply. Characters: Jody: 12-13 A city kid who has gone through alot recently and hates that she has had to move to the country. She's outspoken and a good friend. Samantha: 8 She's a tough little street kid who is secretly very lonely and wants a friend. Nicole: 12-14 Having been bullied at school for most of her life, Nicole is a 'plain jane' with a shocking temper when pushed too far. She's a loyal friend. Alex: 12-14 Alex is desperate to be popular, even at times if it means spying on her friends or causing problems for them to the amusement of the 2 obnoxious popular girls at her school. Alex wants to do the right thing, but it's so hard sometimes! Lily: 8-10 Lily is Alex's little sister. Lily is an adorable, playful tomboy who seems almost fearless when it comes to an urgent situation. Tara and Kimberly: 13-15 Tara is the most spoilt rich brat at the school, closely followed by her friend Kimberly, who basically follows whatever Tara says or does. Eric and Robbie: 13-15 Eric is the best looking guy at school. Tara adores him. Robbie is Eric's moderatly dweeby skater friend. He thinks Eric is crazy for not showing any interest in Tara, because unfortunately, Robbie isn't very popular with the ladies. Although very different, the 2 boys are both good mates. Miss Crane: 22-32 Miss Crane is the kid's much loved school teacher. She's very country Aussie, a little bit ocker, but has a heart of gold. The kids can talk to her about things more comfortably quite often than they can with their own parents. Samantha's parents: 35-45 Sam's parents are just about the worst parents imaginable. 'Mum' dresses like a bad case of 'mutton dressed as lamb', with too tight leopard print pants and big hair. She's obnoxious to everyone she meets and treats Sam like garbage. 'Dad' is a gambler, a crook and a liar. Neither show any love or kindness to their daughter. Their behaviour, although sad at times to watch, can also be quite comical, because they are just so obnoxious!
