Inviting men aged anywhere between 20 and 50 to audition for the role of the year: a one-man tour de force as Ritchie Carter, the famous TV chef recreating in front of a live audience his most celebrated culinary creation, the dish that catapulted him to the top of the gastronomic charts - a croquembouche universally hailed as the perfect dish! Of course, things don't go exactly as planned...

We're looking for a leading man with the skill, experience and commitment needed to take audiences through an amazing musical / culinary journey.

Audition Dates

Monday 31^st August 7 – 9:30pm

Tuesday 1^st September 6 – 9pm

At DANCEHOUSE, 150 Princes Street

North Carlton

Callbacks on Saturday 5^th September (negotiable under certain circumstances)

Audition Requirements

Please note that this is a musical for a solo male performer only.

Prepare 2 (two) contrasting songs, one of which should be a character/comic song (as opposed to a love ballad, for example).

Prepare a dramatic monologue of no less than 2 minutes running time.

Production

At The Butterfly Club, South Melbourne, November 12^th - 15^th and 19^th – 22^nd

2 or 3 rehearsals per week leading up to production period.
