Well Josh, you don't give much away about yourself, so...no, there isn't anybody here who knows if there's a 'career thing like those' for you!

I think I've given Hattai some useful advice that I hope she's acted upon (it would be nice to hear back from her), and I don't think I can add anything further, other than it could just as easily apply to you if you're serious about pursuing such a venture. Nobody is just going to give you an opportunity without you making some effort yourself. Frankly, I'm surprised that you've apparently read all of the above and yet still expect someone to offer you magic words that will open up an avenue of opportunity for you.

Tell us something about yourself: What experience do you have? What skills do you have? What exactly do you want to do- talking books? Radio announcing? Radio plays?
