I fear you are in need of also some more information: You are looking for paid work, and this is not the best site to find it. This is predominantly an amateur site, and therefore most roles pertain to unpaid ones. You will also find that it is a very small job marketplace (UK jobs usually double or triple what's advertised in the arts in Australia per week on average), and most paid jobs are advertised on other websites (if at all), like www.artshub.com.au or www.quietonset.com.au. Furthermore, most, if not all, professional acting jobs are not advertised openly, and you would need an agent to get an audition. You are looking for a very specific job and to be honest, I've not seen many jobs ads for that role; perhaps two or three in six years (I worked for a long time in a job that required finding arts jobs to advertise). I appreciate and understand your wish to work with community groups and companies that deal with social issues, but I suggest you look at broadening your field of inquiry. If nothing else, please read the link provided as it does actually discuss a lot of issues in finding work, what the industry is like here, etc. Australia is nothing like the UK in terms of job opportunities, and with the economy the way it is, we too are struggling to find and maintain arts work (well, more than usual). Whether it be in Perth, Melbourne, or anywhere else, I recommend you broaden the scope of your job hunting, as it truly is a niche role that you are looking for.
