Guitar Techers in Perth

Does anyone know of (or is) a good guitar teacher in Perth? I'm buying my partner an acoustic/electric guitar for Christmas and would like to give him a few lessons to go with it. He is almost a complete beginner (he taught himself a bit of bass in highschool) and doesn't read music but has an excellent ear. I suspect he'll be mainly interested in rock music :)
We're in Victoria Park, so somewhere close by to that area would be great.

Probably the best bet is to have a look in Xpress Magazine or perhaps pop into Park pianos in Vic Park to their guitar section and ask them for some recommendations.

Another option would be to contact retail outlets like Kosmic and such. They may know of people or even have a recommendation.
