TV Casting Call for talented young Australians
Thu, 23 Oct 2008, 03:59 pmWe are shooting a new Australian show and looking for talented individuals. This television series is a unique opportunity for Australians aged 18-39 to get exposure and expand their professional network.
Six Beers of Separation is a television series where aspiring Australian artists, designers, musicians, film makers and performers test the six degrees of separation theory in person, over a beer – not on the web, traveling the globe in an effort to meet the individual who has been their greatest inspiration.
There is no host, and it’s not a travelogue – the show will be shot in a documentary format and participants have to prove themselves along the way to make each connection.
Four Australians each get a maximum of six meetings to ultimately connect with their celebrity
inspiration. We supply them with $12,000 for expenses and the journey they end up taking, which
must be completed in less than 18 days.*
We are currently casting for Six Beers of Separation, so if you, or someone you know is interested in participating, please direct them to the casting website:

Please check out the website, and forward it to anyone you think might be interested, or might want to pass it on. If you’d like to register, we ask that you complete an application on the website, and upload a webcam or simply shot video that includes:
Your Name
Your Age
Your Field of Interest (Music - Film&TV - Visual Arts/Design/Fashion - Acting/Comedy)
Why you love what you love
Who's inspires you - ie Tarantino, Sneaky Sound System, Banksy, etc (can be a few people)
Some interesting thing about your talent (ie I learned to play piano by ear at 21 and wrote my first
musical at 22)

Prizes are not transferable. t is a condition of the prize that winners (and any persons nominated by winners to participate in the prize) sign a written agreement with the Promoter regarding their participation in the Production.Winners agree that they (and any persons nominated by winners to participate in the prize) must be available for appearance in the Production and any other related publicity eventson all dates and at all times nominated by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Such appearances will be without additional compensation."
