Auditions for playreading Melbourne

'Electric Fence' is a new play by Melbourne playwright Samantha Hill, and thanks to a grant from RMIT, this play will receive a rehearsed reading on Tuesday 25th November at Trades Hall in Carlton. So we need actors who can throw themselves into this comic and surreal drama set in the bush! The final performance will be a reading (scripts in hand) but we want actors who can move around and create the atmosphere of the play in the audience's mind. The characters we need to cast are: Lara, Female, early 20s Jack, Male, early 20s Stephen, Male, 40s-50s Albert, Male, 60s - 80s (or anyone who can convincingly play an elderly man!) Jane, Female, early 20s Maddie, Female, early 20s Julie, Female, 20s -30s Richard, Male, early 20s Auditions will be held in the RMIT University Function room (next to Kaleide Theatre), Building 8, 360 Swanston St, city, on Thursday 23rd October at 7pm.
