HTC Youth's Midsummer Night's Dream Auditions

AUDITION NOTICE FOR A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Group auditions for HTC Youth's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream will take place on the following dates. Monday the 1st of September Wednesday the 3rd of September. We are looking for actors aged 15 to 25 to take part in this December production. Actors are required to prepare one Shakespearean monologue and one contemporary monologue each approximately one minute long. The auditions will take place at "Broken Mirror Productions" Address: 2C Staley Street, Brunswick, 3056 at 7pm (both days). Performance dates are from Wednesday 10th December to Saturday 20th December (11 performances). PUCK: Preferably some movement experience and any instrument. FAERIES: All types, Dance and movement experience a plus. BOTTOM: Calling all Comedians, Bring something original. OBERON: Think outside the box, prepare something different. THE LOVERS: Obsession, Lust, Movement, Dynamic - Include at least two of these and be considered. THE ROYAL COURT: Think Monty Python, Think British Humour, Think original. TITANIA: Sexy but manipulative, remember she's the fairy queen. THE MECHANICALS: Slapstick and funny voices a plus.
