FD is a comic book style short film that will be almost entirely filmed in front of a green screen. This should prove to be an exciting opportunity to be involved in a project that certainly does not fall into the "Aussie short film" category. A full script will be issued to all actors before auditions but for secrecy sake further details are not available. Filming is in Melbounre CBD and St.Kilda East.
Wanted:
FD: The lead character.
If you fall over, he'll pick you up. But if you piss him off, he will kill you. Tough as they come and a true romantic, in his own kind of way.
MALE, 25+yrs
Mika: The damsel
Like FD, she is tough, but unlike FD, she is sexy as hell.
FEMALE, 20+yrs
Rev.Peters: The Baddie
Using his robe as a diversion from his truly demonic enterprises, Rev.Peters sees a future filled with night walkers.
MALE,35+yrs
Goons 1,2,3&4
The most important roles in any comic book, the villains. Some are dumb, some are smart, but all die in a glorious fashion. Roles vary from non speaking (goons1&4), a few hard hitting lines (goon3) through to 50% of the films dialog(goon 2).
4 MALES,25+yrs
Dead Girls
Whats a movie without dead girls, and I need 6! Non speaking roles (you are dead) Lots of gory makeup
FEMALES, 18+yrs
If you are interested in applying for one of these roles please email your CV and head shot to: askmovies@hotmail.com specifying which role you think your best suited for, although you will still be considered for all roles.
Auditions will be held in the first weeks of August and filming commences on the 20th of August running full time for 7 days for the 3 main roles, 1day for dead girls and 2 days for the goons.
Note: This is a strictly unpaid film, all cast and crew are on a dedicated but voluntary basis, please do not apply if you are unreliable or after money.
