True Times Three - an impossible explosion of comic magical realism

True Times Three
True Times Three is an impossible explosion of comic magical realism, a mischievous musing on one helluva in ya face question – who do you think you are?
Angela and Tony are normal people. Enter Simone and Joel. Re-evaluate everything.
Set here and now, True Times Three, is fast paced, smart and sassy, and aimed straight at the heart of contemporary Sydney. In a buff and botox culture where Project Me sells everything from skincare to solar panels, laughter is the only antidote.
“The play is art, it questions and it confronts, but really it’s just bloody funny,” says lead actor, Penny Hall.
Subtlenuance is dedicated to original, ambitious, independent theatre that delights in holding Sydney up to the mirror.
“True Times Three is one part philosophy and all parts frivolity,” says playwright Paul Gilchrist. “What’s more fun than the sound of smashing mirrors.”

With Kristy Best, Daniel Felkai, Penny Hall and James Shoobridge
