DanceLife is a complete online directory and social network, catering to the aspirations of all types of performers as well as anyone that is interested in dance and entertainment. DanceLife launches at a time when dance, entertainment and performing is rapidly growing as an industry in Australia. Clint Salter, Managing Director and Creator of DanceLife, has been a part of the entertainment industry for the past fourteen years. At only twenty three years of age he has owned and operated a Dance Studio and is currently an Agent for The Harry M Miller Group. “DanceLife is Australia’s only directory and social network of its kind. The concept was developed to service the local dance community and industry related businesses by putting them in touch with each other”, says Clint. DanceLife has over twenty five business categories where businesses can list their company including dance studios, agents, photographers, physiotherapists, personal trainers, dress makers and retailers. Users can search for businesses by postcode, suburb and keywords. By giving the users these options they are able to find relevant listings fast. The social network provides all performers and dancers with a place that keeps them up to date with the industry through the blogs, event calendar, forum, audition notices and the photo gallery. DanceLife is lucky enough to have nine industry professionals contributing to the blog including Kelley Abbey, Juliette Verne, PJ Clarke, Leah Howard and Kate Wormald. Each of these bloggers will be writing an article each month that will be full of inside industry news, advice, inspiration stories along with articles on the industry in general. Leading performer and award winning Choreographer of the animated film "Happy Feet" Kelley Abbey comments, "I am so happy that DanceLife has arrived. Finally a way for our dance community to catch up, get informed, plug in and be inspired. It's about time our industry was nurtured by a website like DanceLife". DanceLife will be appearing at the 2008 Groove Dance Expo that will be held July 11-13 at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. Tickets for the event are available through www.ticketek.com.au. Become a member of DanceLife today for access to articles, interviews, auditions, events and loads more. www.dancelife.com.au
