Stage Combat Certification Workshop - Perth

Dear All, This is just a brief note to let you know that I will be running a Stage Combat Certification Workshop in Perth commencing Tuesday, April 15. It will run for 14 consecutive Tuesday nights with the final session on July 15. The certification offered is the Society of Australian Fight Directors Inc. BASIC Certificate and it incorporates two modules: Body Control for Performance (Unarmed) and Theatrical Swordplay. All equipment, weapons and documents will be provided. The class times will be every Tuesday night from 7:00-9:00 pm throughout the course. The venue is the Old Masonic Hall, The Broadway, Nedlands, WA (Black Swan Theatre Company Studios). The fee is $450 per person (including GST) and you will be issued with a receipt. A $50 discount is available to any participant who is a member of: Society of Australian Fight Directors Inc; MEAA; ITA or other dramatic club; SCA or other re-enactment society; full-time student; unemployed. Only ONE DISCOUNT PER PERSON, so apologies to any MEAA members who are at uni, have just lost their bartending job and hang out with the Grey Company on the weekends; its still just $50 off. A $100 deposit secures your place on the course and payment plans are available. Places are STRICTLY limited to 12 participants due to space constraints.
