Or you can type it manually
Fri, 8 June 2007, 12:24 pmOr you can type it manually by using the following code (to actually copy and paste the code would make the code invisible, so I have to write it slightly differently for it to make sense.)
type an opening triangular bracket <
type the letter 'a' - small font (don't use the quote marks) press spacebar
type the letters 'href' - small font (don't use the quote marks)
type the symbol =
type the symbol "
type the link, including the http:// (otherwise the link won't work)
type the symbol "
type closing triangular bracket >
type in whatever words you want as the text of the link (like 'click here' or whatever)
type opening triangular bracket <
type /
type letter 'a' - small font (don't use the quote marks)
type closing triangular bracket >
And there's your link!
< a href = " insert link here " > type words here < / a >
And here's what it looks like properly
type words here
Of course, no one expects you to remember that (except computer geeks)... which is why God invented WYISWYG editors (rich-text enabling).
