Hey Guys, Our Names are William Hebblewhite and Nathan Senn, We currently studying film at La Trobe and looking to make a short film to enter into the university's annual short film competition. The film is a primarily dialogue based art film. We looking to fill two lead roles, one female and one male. Auditions will be held: For Female Actors: Friday the 1st June (3pm-6pm) Saturday the 2nd June (11am-4pm) with a one half an hour break from 1pm-1:30pm) Call-backs (if necessary) Monday 4th (times to be discussed) For Male Actors: Friday 8th June (3pm-6pm) Saturday 9th June (11am-4pm) Call-backs (if necessary) 10th June (times to be discussed) In selecting actors, looks and experience are not relevant as each applicant will be cast based purely on talent; however the preferable age range is between 17 and 21. Unfortunately as this is very much an amateur production we will be unable to pay our actors, however we will provide transport, catering and a and a professionally produced DVD copy of the film upon completion. The film will be shown at ACMI in Federation Square to an audience of approximately 300-400 people, where members of the film industry will be invited to attend. It will also be entered into the up and coming Fitzroy and St. Kilda short film festivals so the opportunity to gain a decent amount of exposure is guaranteed. Filmmaking is something we am very passionate about and what we one day hope to do for a profession, so there is also the opportunity for us to work together in future projects, however this is obviously optional.
