Naked in the Fernery’s debut performance at Woodbin Theatre. Naked in the Fernery had its debut performance at Geelong West's Woodbin Theatre last night (Friday, May 18) and it went over really, really well. It was HUGE! The moment Robert Trott (star of the hugely successful GRUMPY OLD MEN show, produced by Colin Mockett) came on as Harry and explained why his wife had turfed him out, the laughs started and they just kept going for the whole length of the show. The laughs and atmosphere was whole-hearted. One audience member later remarked to me that some of the stuff was so real to life, it felt like it was taken from her own living room. At just after 10.30am, this morning, the phone rang. It was a lady who came to the show with a friend and she wanted to book two more tickets so she could come back and see it again next week. She said she loved the show and wanted to come back "for more laughs!" She also said the thought the length of the play was "just right" and that it was great to see the Woodbin putting on another show in between their normal Rep Season plays. Naked in the Fernery continues for two more performances at the Woodbin Geelong on Friday May 25 and Friday June 1. Tickets can be booked on 52428129 or bought at the door on the night. Show starts at 8PM. We'd love to see you there! Adrian Sherlock.

If you are in Geelong this week, you'll have a chance to see the last performance of the funny and highly entertaining "Naked in the Fernery" at the Woodbin Theatre in Coronation St Geelong West. If you haven't seen it yet, then you might be missing out on something pretty good. Naked in the Fernery has proven to be a successful little experiment in independent theatre and has had some amazingly positive responses from audiences. The last show is this Friday at 8.PM. All tickets are $12 and can be bought at the door or booked by phoning 5242 8129.
