Volunteer actors wanted 'Flower's for Emily'- the pilot- is a 3rd yr Curtin film about a single parent (Rob) who tries to seek revenge on his daughter's murderer, by taking the law into his own hands. Set in a cul-de-sac street, this suburban story unravels secrets about the everyday, and entices the audience to look beyond surface value. We are looking for actors to play: ROB- (major) 30-40 y.o. father of deceast 8y.o. Emily. Single parent. He has an underlying secret holding it from everyone, even himself. Flexibility/creativity welcome in creating this character. SUZIE- (major) 8y.o. friend of Emily. Intimidated by Rob. Shy. She knows Rob's secret. SUZIE'S MUM- (minor) 30-40 y.o. Suspicious of Rob. Protective of Suzie. MR SMITH- (minor) 50+. Neighbour of Rob. Keeps to himself. Likes things tidy and in order.
