Looking for local talent: Are you a comedian, impersonator, magician or ventriloquist?
Fri, 9 Mar 2007, 04:00 pmI am looking for some local talent to perform at a corporate function in August. More specifically, performances reflecting the 1920's like a Charlie Chaplin impersonation and a ventriloquist who can do something in the style of "gabbo".
Or, if you happen to be a dancer who can do the Charleston, an escapist magician or anything else that suits the theme "Roaring 1920's" please contact me.
You will need to give me a fixed quote for your services. I am posting this blog because I've been to all of the usual agencies and not only do they have to fly someone from Sydney if I want a Charlie Chaplin impersonator, the prices are ridiculous.
There must be some local talent out there who are just as good or better and interested in this gig!
