hey guys that are laeving our beautiful state to train just to let you know that there is also a place much closer o home a without the need to move abroad, The entertainment factory this place is a newly designed course which offers the same course as waaapa in acting and dancing and the same qualification, in musical theatre we have the same sort of course only you dont come out with a bachelor at the end of it just an advanced diploma (but how many auditios have you been to where they have been bothered about your qualification) the director of the school is olivia collier probabaly one of the best musical theatre directors in perth, she used to teach singing for waapa. Also we have teacher such as andy fraser renowned stage combat man, stephen lee the best director in perth, vivienne garret new head of acting at waapa, justin mmcnamara who is a product of the australian ballet company and starred in cats over here and in germany for 9 years and is probably the best ballet tecaher in wa, also andrea fletcher who was a showgirl and dancer throughout asia as head of dance, so as you can see there are an amazing amout of ver talented people avaliable right here at your own doorstep , the course is only two years long you also get an agent m and m personal managment and are able to get work whilst in the course, our first show is coing up in march if you need any covincing it is our house as advetised in the musical section tickets are on sale from bocs ticketing, so come along and see the quality for yourself, y not give a school in perth a chance to be really good and give waapa some healthy competition. the course is completley accredited so help from centrelink is availiable, the aim is to take mainly wa students unlike waapa who take about 3 a year or someting this year we have a year of 15 all from wa.

Hey, Please! Let's not turn this thread into an argument! Differing opinions and views are fine... welcome even, but comments that just vilify a person or institution are not necessary... Anyway, if you would like to know more you can talk to either Daniel or Olivia on... 9207 19 45 ...or visit the website, (the good old internet can usually answer most of your questions!) www.theentertainmentfactory.com.au I hope this helps! :)
