Help finding producer and bigger venue
Thu, 11 Jan 2007, 07:27 pmHi folks. My name is Rick Ballan. I am a composer/jazz guitarist from Sydney. I have recently been involved in composing for and performing in a new piece of music theatre called 'cleanskins', book by Matt Holt. With a seven peice band and six fine graduate actors (inc. John Waters son Ivan), the preview show ran at 'bar me' in Sydney for two weeks longer than intended. Being a tiny but cosy space, we are currently looking for a producer and bigger venue, and possibly other talented people who could help with promo, sets etc. If you are interested in helping promote a quirky but commercially viable show, one which has real music and a storyline very relevant to the current state of the arts in this country?
