Audition Information AUDITION DATE: Sunday, 11th December 2011 TIME: 12 pm- 6 pm WHERE: Building 14, room no-14.113, Edith Cowan University, Mt Lawley Cast Consists of 5 performers. 3 male and 2 female Characters: Vincent Dupontel Mukesh Paliwal Eugene Adalia Sandra Mmura Nestilia Sewell The character description is not given intentionally. The character will be created from and by the actor. The actors do not necessarily be bilingual. Story Excerpt: UNKNOWN is a play about the struggle of 5 different identities who strive to live through the abominable social politics, disturbed global economy, complexities of religion and malleability of human relationships. In a life of toil, they question their existence only to find out that without these struggles they will have nothing to do in this world. Major dance theatre performance by Ankoku Buyo Collective in 2012, UNKOWN is a story about 5 different lives, written with 3 different languages and performed by 6 different performers. Prepare a short(1-2 min) movement and spoken piece(no prohibition on use of text from plays). The auditioneers need to show the best of their physical and vocal abilities. Experience in physical theatre is appreciated but not necessary. Performers of ages 17+ only. Rehearsals will start on 15th December.
