Performers under 25 - time to get involved at WAYTCo

2011 is our 21st birthday - our acting classes on Sundays at King St are underway, we've just announced auditions for 'Clark in Sarajevo' by Catherine Zimdahl directed by Jenny Davis. Our 'TheatreLab 1.0 (beta)' performance lab for emerging theatre practitioners is set to commence next month for members, we are holding open creative sessions as part of National Youth Week on the theme of EARTH at the beginning of April, and our group devised production 'EARTH' will be directed by Jeffery Jay Fowler. Jeffrey has written six full length pieces of theatre (and directed four of them): Zen's Red Mouth, Hope is the saddest, Red Lashes and The Beast, Duck, Duck, Goose!, The Rusalka Thread and A history of drinking. He is a graduate of the National Institue of Dramatic Art's Graduate Diploma of Dramatic Arts (Directing). In 2007 he was a member of Black Swan's HotBed Ensemble and in 2009 he was a member of Perth Theatre Company's In The Chair program. 'EARTH' will be staged in December.
