Directed by Mike Butler,with Musical Director Linda Roads this show is packed from beginning to end with popular songs, wonderfully funny scripting and plenty of audience participation,something one loves and expects from "Waiting in the Wings".
King Bumble Grums' son is seeking a bride from the village and the most likely candidate is Violet. But Violet has been accused by her Stepmother Maude and her Stepsister Fatima of being a Witch and bannished to the forest. There with the help of Larry the lost boy and his faithful forest dwellers, she hopes to find a real Witch who can help clear her name.
Will Violet's world crumble? Will Fairy Goodness Gracious help to save the day? Will Violet marry the handsome Prince? These and many more questions will be answered when you pay a visit to a performance of "Bumble Grum and the Tricky Witch" After the recent success of Wings"Bucket full of Troubles" many children and their families will be making their way to one of the performances starting at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre Thornlie, 9th June 7.30pm and 10th June 3pm then continuing to Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre 23rd June7.30pm and 24th June 3pm, finishing at Kwinana Community Arts Centre 7th July 7.30pm and 8th July 3pm.
