Something strange is happening in HollowÂ…
Tania, Phil and Sally can’t wait to leave Hollow, or ‘Nowhere Central’ as they call it, a typical Aussie country town where there’s no secrets, no strangers and where nothing unusual ever happens.
But in an ironic twist of fate a mysterious plague breaks out and the authorities lock down the town. Their quest for a better future suddenly turns into a race for survival as one by one the epidemic kills off their schoolmates.
Alliances shift, parents lock out their children and the choices between life and death become simultaneously fantastical and apocalyptic.
Starring Sarah Borg, Bryn Coldrick, Talei Howell-Price, Wyatt Nixon-Lloyd and Zoe Pepper. Set and Costume Design by Fiona Bruce, Lighting Design by Lucy Birkinshaw, Composer Ash Gibson Greig.
FALLING PETALS is high-octane theatre. Edgy, entertaining and twisted, its The X-Files meets the Lord of the Flies!
“Assaulting, confronting, surreal – Ben Ellis’ writing is a mix of humour, anger and insight… a vivid shock to the nervous system of contemporary theatre” (Comments from Wal Cherry Award judges)
