Ever wondered what goes on in the apartment next door? Apartment Life takes a look behind the doors of a Sydney Apartment complex. The lives of three neighbours on the countdown to New YearÂ’s Day are at different times funny, shocking, moving and sickeningÂ…

Gary is preparing for an evening in with his new girlfriend, Claudia, when out of the blue, Skye, his ex shows up. Gary frantically tries to get rid of her before Claudia turns up. The consequences are hilarious.

Leon is a quiet, middle-aged man who lives alone. His only pleasure is chatting on the Internet and preying on unsuspecting victims. Josie is one girl who has fallen into LeonÂ’s trap and needs to put an end to it. A dark, disturbing past is suddenly revealed.

George and MaudÂ’s son, Thomas, has recently died. Neither of these doting pensioners can accept this. Take a bizarre trip through their senility and confusion as they come to terms with his loss. A comical and moving exchange with a twist.

Apartment Life is the second collaboration between Steve Clack and Luke Rex. Dilemma, the first, was selected for the "Short and Sweet" season at Newtown theatre in January and was voted as the Peoples Favourite Award for Week 4.

This is the first Sydney production by Panther Productions, a Sydney/London venture dedicated to showcasing totally new talent and original work. Carlos Quaderi, MD & Executive Producer of Panther Productions comments:

“This is a very exciting time for Panther. Apartment Life is our first significant direct investment in Sydney. The quality of the writing, directing and acting is even higher than we might have expected. We are honoured to be operating in Sydney and will remain on the lookout for similarly up and coming talent to support and promote”.
