grUnge macBeth is a rock opera based on Shakespeare Â’s
play Macbeth . It has been created as a way of making
the play more accessible to young people through the
use of contemporary music whilst keeping the words of
the Bard alive. The production will involve the best of
the performers and artists from Public chools in
Wagga Wagga.The result will be a highly energetic,
innovative and contemporary production of one of
Shakespeare's most performed plays.
