Love And Perfect Harmony

"Love And Perfect Harmony" is the fourth play by English playwright Raymond Hopkins performed by Endeavour Theatre Company. The action of this play takes place in the local community hall in the south of England, where the local choral society holds its rehearsals. The chois is nominated to take part in a competition in Austria, and the bossy Edith, who expects to take the solo role at the competition, is outvoted in favour of a newcomer, Carrie, who is a much better singer. But when Carrie withdraws, they have to persuade Edith to come back. There are lots of twists and turns, and amusing situations, especially with the secret romance between Edith's daughter, Jenny, and Hugh, another member of the choir, and Carrie's attraction to the shy choirmaster. NOTE: There is a Matinee performance on Sunday 5th May at 2.30pm
