ABOUT TOMMY By Thor Bjorn Krebs Translated by David Duchin Directed by Kat Henry Based on a series of actual events in the territories formerly known as Yugoslavia, this compelling new play boldly follows the insertion of a UN peacekeeping force (UNPROFOR) into the Serbian war. The young recruits are trained for warfare but are totally unprepared for the harrowing and perhaps impossible mission that commands them to 'monitor' but not engage in hostilities. Danish playwright Thor Bjorn Krebs explores one young man's pursuit to maintain sanity when faced with the horror of war. ★★★★★ - Berlingske Cast: Red Stitch ensemble members Kate Cole, Matthew Whitty and special guest actor Paul Henri Previews: Wed 24th & Thurs 25th of April @8pm Season: 25th April to 26th May Wednesdays to Fridays: 8pm Matinees: 4pm Saturdays (4th, 11th,18th and 25th May) Sundays: 6.30pm Bookings: www.redstitch.net or call 9533 8083 Enquires: admin@redstitch.net or call 95338082 Cost: $20 -$39 (Student Rush tix available)
