THE PRODUCERS ASHFIELD MUSICAL SOCIETY Ashfield Musical Society are pleased to present their first upcoming musical for 2013. Max Bialystock, a struggling Broadway producer and Leo Bloom a stage-struck accountant join forces in order to make mega-bucks by producing the worst musical ever seen on Broadway. They discover the mother lode in a musical script written by Franz Liebkind (a ex-nazi storm trooper) which tells the story of Hitler’s rise to power in song and dance. They are convinced that they have found a show that is guaranteed to offend just about everybody. To quote words from “Spring Time for Hitler”, you are sure to leave feeling ‘Happy and Gay’.
