Join Stratosfunk for one special night only as they take you on a soul train journey to pay homage to the Soul and R&B artists of the 1960s on Friday 17 May, Regal Theatre, Subiaco from 7pm. It's the 1960s. Soul and R&B sounds are saturating the air-waves; major record labels like Motown, Stax, Atlantic and King are churning out incredible dance records, hit after hit, year after year. Aretha Franklin, Ike & Tina Turner, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, the Temptations and Stevie Wonder, these are the kings and queens of Soul, these are the legends of their time. Everyone wants to be part of it. No-one can refuse it. All aboard the Soul Train! Stratosfunk, for this special night, has expanded to an eleven-piece band with toe-tappin' rhythm section combining with a blistering horn section and a front row of powerhouse vocalists and gorgeous Go-Go dancers. DJ Agent Double-O Soul and King & Peas the Soul Purpose DJs will be spinning vintage vinyl to get the party started and keep it going after the show.
