This is the Australian premier of a wonderful musical from the team behind Cabaret and Chicago.

Some of the songs featured, such as The Rink, Marry Me, We Can Make It and Coloured Lights, later featured in the Kander and Ebb musical revue And The World Goes Round.

Anna is the owner of a dilapidated roller-skating rink on the boardwalk of a decaying seaside resort, who has decided to sell it to developers. Complicating her plans are her prodigal daughter Angel, who returns to town seeking to reconnect with the people and places she long ago left behind.  The memories that this reunion stirs up will bring tears and laughter.
