CASH ON DELIVERY is a high paced English Farce written by Michael Cooney, and has enjoyed many years being performed since its creation in 1997. The premise of the play is based around a middle class husband who has been hiding his redundancy from his wife over the past two years. How is that possible…. Well lets just say he becomes very creative with management of non existent lodgers with varying ailments with the local Depart of Social Security. The adage of “ oh what a terrible web we weave, when we set out to deceive..” is very apt. This hilarious script will not only have the audience walking out exhausted from laughing so hard and so much, it will also have the cast appreciate the finer art of farce in its truest form.
