The Shoe-Horn Sonata tells the story of a young Australian nurse and an English schoolgirl who spent three and a half years as prisoners of the Japanese after the fall of Singapore in 1942. A story of love, courage, survival and forgiveness, The Shoe-Horn Sonata is an uplifting, life-affirming memorial to the Army Nurses and the women and children who shared their history.
