Stirling Players Youth (SPY) offers young people in and around the City of Stirling a creative opportunity to learn about the different aspects of performance and production. SPY has been a part of community theatre group Stirling Players Inc. for the past 10 years, and is based at their theatre in Innaloo. We manage a range of annual events and special projects which are programmed and run by our members, and are open to all young people interested in theatre and the performing arts.
Monologue Montage is a performance event aimed at young drama students, exhibiting a range of scripted and self-devised monologues from past TEE Drama students, Film and Television students and University trained actors. There will be an opportunity for audience members to chat with the 12 actors after their performances, to ask any questions or queries about Monologues, Exams and the courses available for them in the future.
This event is an amazing opportunity for TEE Drama students who are in the early stages of preparing their exam pieces and deciding on their future endeavours, and we encourage group bookings from high schools to ensure this knowledge is shared within drama classes.
Monologue Montage will be held at Stirling Theatre, Morris Place, Innaloo on Wednesday 9 March. Doors open at 7pm with a 7.30 pm start. There is an entry fee of $5 which includes a program and refreshments. Seating is limited so to ensure you don’t miss out book your seats through montage@stirlingplayers.com.au.
For more information about SPY and how you and your students can be involved, visit our page at www.stirlingplayers.com.au. We look forward to seeing you there!
