This production promises to be a spectacularly entertaining show which will delight everyone from the youngest to the oldest audience member.

Set in mediaeval England, this outrageous musical comedy turns a childhood favourite on its head as our boy Jack climbs the fabled beanstalk, only to find a friendly, lovable Giant and a tap-dancing Golden Goose. Along the way, he encounters his long-lost father (a victim of – what else? – amnesia) and a villainous Baron. Fresh, wacky and unexpected, “Jack & The Beanstalk” is sure to delight even the most jaded of audiences!

Brendan Tobin, the director, has ensured that everyone in the audience has a brilliant time and George Boyd, his set designer and builder has constructed, with the help of the cast, marvellous tableaux which will equal his previous magnificent sets at Marloo.

Amanda Minutillo and Emily Gelineau bring together an ensemble which will grace the stage in an enchanting musical extravaganza and will enhance the settings as ‘Jack’, played by the talented Sam Tye, encounters his adventures with the GIANT, played by Richard Milner.

The delightful choreography is once again arranged by Donna Williams.

The costumes add to the thrill of it all, and are carefully crafted by Tracey Wood, Juliet Taylor and their assistants.
