AtticErratic presents as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival: Ad Infinitum

Fresh from their sellout season of Christina: A Story With Music, AtticErratic presents - Ad Infinitum: Why feel pity, when you can feel superiority?

Directed by Danny Delahunty, written by Giuliano Ferla and performed by Tom Pitts. Ad Infinitum is the story of Herod Sondheim Rockefeller, a well known, liked and respected pillar of the community who's found life's greatest joy in the act of giving. But what happens when he starts to question the sincerity of gratitude? Presented in the form of an extended monologue, Herod’s story is an honest and confronting confession detailing his journey from philanthropist to miscreant. Partially inspired by The Fall by Albert Camus, as well as elements of Milton’s Paradise Lost and Dante’s Inferno, Ad Infinitum is an exploration of the various ways we construct ideas of self-worth and gratification through our relationships.

Showing at one of Melbourne’s most exciting venues: Collingwood Underground Carpark, where AtticErratic had much success with Pitts’ Christina. Jason Whittaker of Crikey.com.au said of the Underground “eerie, enveloping space “ and of Christina “well paced, imaginatively conceived and wonderfully performed” of AE: “In a car park, underground you’ll find the theatre stars of tomorrow…this ensemble of players is one to watch on the Melbourne indie theatre scene"

Ad Infinitum is showing at the Underground with AtticErratic's other Fringe offering Ad Nauseam.

Dates are 23 September - 7 October (no shows on 1-4 October)

Show is @ 10.00pm 22-27 and 8.00pm 28-30 Sept & 5-7 Oct (60min)
