Anything Goes is a fun, lively musical that tells the story of the SS American, sailing from New York to England, carrying an unusual group of passengers. Included amongst them are a second-rate gangster, a gorgeous heiress (Hope Harcourt) and her overbearing mother, a nightclub singer and a wealthy New York businessman and his stowaway assistant (Billy Crocker). It turns out that Hope is Billy’s long‑lost love who he desperately searches to win her back.
Unfortunately, she is now engaged to a wealthy Englishman, Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. It tells the age-old tale of boy-meets-girl, and the complications that ensue will intrigue every audience. Described as one of the most outstanding musical comedies of the 1930s, Anything Goes is perfect for anyone who fancies their feel good factor. You’re guaranteed a hilarious and exhilarating evening of musical comedy.
