2010 MPAC One Act Play Festival

Do YOU like a good play? Then this is the perfect day out for you! Calling all theatre lovers to this outstanding event. See State-wide theatre groups perform a smorgasbord of creative short plays by gifted writers and directors whilst competing for great prizes! MPAC produced its first and inaugural One Act Play Festival in 2009, after taking up the initiative to embrace and engage local theatre groups from all over the State to come together at one high profile event. Along with the opportunity to showcase their talent, entrants also took the opportunity to network with like-minded people, share ideas and learn new techniques. Meanwhile, audiences were delighted with a fabulous selection of innovative short plays performed throughout the day and shared in the excitement of the winners of categories such as Best Play, Best Director and Best Actor and Actress. This year’s event is shaping up to be another outstanding success and we encourage ALL theatre lovers to come along and enjoy this fun and entertaining day!
