A One woman show about Angela Kennedy Lipsky, who finds herself dumped in favour of a young Mexican minx. Over the next 3 years of her life – which translates into the length of the show (approx 1hr 30 minutes) Angela’s emotions, finances and insecurities rise and fall according to the insecurities of her ex.
Can she survive her first Christmas; is it possible to have fun on a blind date? Will she miss Max on her exotic holiday for one? And most of all can she find happiness again?
The script provides lots of topical references and some quirky character traits, not least Angela’s own affliction of not mere hypochondria, but rather LAMB’S syndrome (Layman’s Access to Medical Books, that is)
Eccentric, poignant and extremely funny. The script has an irresistible Irish twinkle interwoven with marvelous warmth and humour.
Please note…this show does contain adult material and is performed without an intermission.
