Alien Chooks in Lithgow is a comedy about Rex, an alcoholic man living in a dysfunctional household with his school-refuser son, Rico, and Violet, Rex’s north shore girlfriend who also battles the bottle. Unexpectedly (!) two pioneering chickens from the Planet Claire get swept off course and have to find 53 packets of potato chip fuel so that they can return to Planet Claire. The Chooks befriend Rico but it is their effect on Rex and Violet that saves the day.
