Synopsis:
Andrew Perkins is happily married with a loving wife, Louise and cursed with a fearsome, mother-in-law, Boadicea. When an old friend writes to him reminiscing about the good times they used to have, Boadicea reads the letter and assuming the worst, determines to remove her daughter instantly from the clutches of this philandering sex fiend. Andrew has a hard time explaining that the letter is perfectly innocent and his life is then further complicated when he agrees to model for a struggling young and attractive artist, wearing not much more than a potted plant. It all amounts to a wave of disasters as Andrew tries to cover his tracks with the help of his cheeky neighbour, Wil. Add to this mix a doddery Reverend, a mystery man in drag, an almost naked bellringer, with the meddling mother-in-law always lurking close by and you have a fast-moving comedy where each attempt to help the situation brings a new disaster, making for a hilarious and entertaining play.
