It's back for a final encore in Brisbane!
'Absolutely hilarious'
THE AGE
'It's impossible not to laugh'
THE NEW YORK TIMES
* * *
Menopause broke the all-time box office record for theatre attendance in Brisbane. If you're one those 130,000 who saw it, here's your chance to re-live the laugh-a-thon. If you have missed what your friends have been raving about, get in quick for the laugh of your life as four women celebrate 'The Change' through such great hits as The Lion sleeps Tonight, Stand by Your Man, Only You, The Great Pretender, and twenty more. It's for ten nights only and it will sell out.
Set in a department store, where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra meet by chance, the musical pokes fun at things such as hot flushes, memory loss, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and eating binges.
Since its first performance, the show has evolved as a "grassroots" movement of women who deal with life after forty and all the challenges they conquer mentally, physically and spiritually.
Do you think that 500,000 Australian women could be wrong? We don't think so. After all, that is how many have seen this hilarious show over the last two and a half years. And they love it! So much so, many of the audience members have come back time and time again to join with their sisters in this 90 minute, one act laugh-a-thon!
