Renegade Productions is proud to present Mammalien: The Descent of Man, Renegade’s very own twist on traditional cabaret, premiering at The Camelot Theatre December 10 - 20. We are our own greatest downfall, or so it is often said. Man; fractured and imperfect. Flawed. Our monsters, our machines, our nightmares; they reach up with their gnarled and clutching fingers at our ankles, at our souls, and down we go, consumed by our own imperfect nature. But wait. Look again. Go on, look closer at that aberration, that weakness, latched to you by its dripping jaws; that pestilent harbinger of this epidemic that is taking us all, one by one… Is it really your lust for the carnal, or for blood, or for innovation and progress? Is that really the vampire at your loins, or the child of science gone wild, tearing through the streets? No. I think not. Look again. Look down, ladies and gentlemen, and meet your fear.
