How will she react? Alfred persuades his elderly mother, Elsie, to move into the Happy Haven Nursing Home. She goes reluctantly, wondering if she made the right decision. How strange this new room of hers is. How full she is of warm familiar memories. How distant her dreams are, until her grandson's spirited girlfriend, Dianne, reawakens them. Horrified by what he sees as Dianne's interference, Alfred fights to keep her at bay and his mother safe in the Happy Haven he chose for her. Foundations shake as manipulation and cunning tear at the family. What does Elsie want? What will she do?
