Once upon a time… in a bizarre world of mystery, memory and madness… an angel heralds news of hope and redemption…
And so melancholy Edgar goes on a Quest to find the Sacred Chalice and reveal the secrets of the Universe. However, deep within his mind, The Tell-Tale Heart continues to beat with hideous and increasing fury.
A journey of terror through the darkest recesses of the human psyche, this visceral physical performance wields its way through a fragmentary parade of Edgar Allan Poe’s gothic short stories and poetry.
Using haunting imagery, creative movement, and traditional storytelling, this is performer Warren Antoine Herbu’s second incarnation of his solo theatre show staged in London in 2007 (Awarded Best Male Actor, Act Provocateur Solo Festival).
“That Motley Drama — oh, be sure. It shall not be Forgot… And much of Madness, and more of Sin, And Horror the Soul of the Plot”
